Power Rankings Winter Edition - "The better the beanie, the better the player"

For the captains this session I am doing them the favor of writing a little Mel Kiper’esq draft rankings for the winter session ONLY. A great winter hat wearer does not translate to how good a player would play in the summer, I believe the formula for that would be “the more salmon the shorts are, the more pucks in the net”. Or something like that.

Kogs aka Cogs

The beanie and hoodie combo with another hoodie just incase the first hoodie isn’t warm enough. Very rare look to see south of 35W/35E split. Pulls it off well, not shocked that he has won multiple Scanly Cup championships which are hosted outdoors and no Greasy Mitt championships.

Mike

The roof might fly off of rink 6 and the “Midnight Sun” phenomenon might happen when sun never sets and while everyone is complaining about the sun rays and glares Mikey will be stuffing that net full of goals.

Druk

A true professional, representing a local company probably also getting paid to do so. The stocking cap looks the perfect size and there is just enough hair showing in the back where the hair flairs nice.

Wong

A Visor beanie is what this is called for those of you who are not down with the trends. The only visor beanie on the draft board from what I saw and like a rare diamond, a rare hat is just as valuable.

Dan

I almost didn’t consider this a beanie since a beanie needs to cover a little of the ears BUT it is rolled up and maybe inside out. Way to much ear showing for this, it is a risk he took, did not pay off. (not pictured: relaxed straight wide leg jeans)

Potty

Wet Emoji Eggplant Emjoi Sweat Drips Emoji . As a captain you have to build your team around this beanie. Perfect amount of hair showing in the front, right amount of tilt back and to top it off chest hair with a DEEEEEP Vneck. Top of the class, sell the farm for this beanie.

Gator, RLE

This is a hard working beanie, can withstand the elements and has hands full of calluses. Almost to much ear showing but with a beanie like that i’m going to keep my mouth shut and give him a high grade.
