PRESEASON PICKS: “Speculation cannot replace education.” ― Wayne Gerard Trotman

1.) RED TEAM - They have two leading scorers from the past seasons, they have depth and they have high energy guys. But they don’t have grit. I think they lead the first week in goals but do finish only 3-1.

2.) BABY BLUE - If height wins games they would be 56-0 this season BUT it sadly does not. TJ has always been on the team that is top 2 in the regular season standings. I am concerned about how lean Mikey is now, I dont want the goalies to get to fat with all the muffins he’ll be feeding them.

3.) YELLOW - Never bet against Dan in the first 5 weeks. I havn’t seen Gally on the ice lately but I do see him everyday in my linkedin feed and he looks like he could put some people through the glass still. I do like this team to go 4-0 this week.

4.) ROYAL - Blood is thicker than water and Forest Lake has the same colors as the Gophers so I think Rhino will fit in just fine.

5.) BLACK - Like the Ray Lewis led Ravens who had the most dominant defense ever, this team will just grind and collapse on their opponents while Jason nets 40 quietly.

6.) ORANGE - Honestly, they should be top 3. But Bobby is coming off the Cup hangover and Brownie and Brods are coming off a finals loss and Druk is coming off a round 1 loss. To many losses for me to think they’ll produce immediately.
